Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Skin Quilted Waterproof Mattress Cover used for?
It is designed to help protect your mattress from spills, sweat, bed-wetting, dust and everyday moisture.
Does the Skin mattress cover have a waterproof layer?
Yes. A waterproof membrane beneath the quilted surface helps prevent liquid from reaching the mattress.
What sizes can I choose from?
The cover is available in Single, Queen, King and Spring Mattress sizes.
What is the King-size measurement?
The King option measures 72 x 78 inches and fits mattresses up to 8 inches deep.
How deep can the Spring Mattress option be?
The Spring option measures 72 x 78 inches and fits mattresses up to 14 inches deep.
What are the Queen and Single dimensions?
The Queen size measures 60 x 78 inches, while the Single size measures 42 x 78 inches.
Does it feel like a plastic mattress protector?
No. The quilted surface is designed to provide a soft and quiet feel without the typical plastic crinkle.
How does the cover stay fitted?
Its deep elasticated skirt wraps around the mattress to create a snug fit.
Can I put my regular bedsheet over it?
Yes. Place the mattress cover directly on the mattress and use your normal bedsheet over it.
How do I wash the Skin Mattress Cover?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and air dry. Avoid bleach and ironing because they can damage the waterproof layer.
Which size should I select for an 8-inch mattress?
For a 72 x 78-inch mattress up to 8 inches deep, select King.
Which option is suitable for a 14-inch Spring mattress?
Select Spring Mattress for a 72 x 78-inch mattress with a depth of up to 14 inches.
